Jasper Huang: the art of touch at Pullman
The prestigious hotel becomes the playground of the Taiwanese artist, for a few months. If you don't want to miss the opportunity to (re)discover the painter's universe, get out your diaries.
Discovering Jasper Huang If you don’t know Jasper Huang, he’s an artist whose talent was revealed at a very young age. At just 12 years old, he joined an experimental art program, marking the beginning of an atypical artistic journey. Huang’s childhood, tinged with a slight form of autism, nourished his introspective view of the world, bringing a unique depth to his works. After studying art, Jasper immersed himself in the world of fashion design for 15 years, while continuing to create works exhibited both nationally and internationally. In 2019, he decided to leave this career to settle in Paris and devote himself entirely to his art, to our great pleasure.

The artwork that touches the soul! Taiwanese artist Huang Jiaxiang presents his solo exhibition "NIRVÂNA: Effortless and Climactic Freedom" in Paris.
The brilliant achievements and material gains that most people can only dream of, Huang Jiaxiang had achieved them a decade ago. However, five years after graduating from the EMBA program at National Chengchi University, he left everything behind. He closed his studio in Taiwan and gave up an income of nearly ten million, setting off alone to fulfill an unforgettable artistic dream in Paris. Huang Jiaxiang's newly established studio is located in the suburbs of Paris, where Picasso's distinctive pink period also began. Those familiar with the art scene would know that this is a gathering place for many artists, with the most famous being the Rodin residence, "Villa Des Brillants." Unlike the heavily guarded luxurious mansions commonly seen in Taiwan's upper class, this is a typical old house often found in the outskirts of Paris. The elegant neoclassical architecture features creaking wooden stairs that lead up in spirals. Inside the studio, colorful dyes, brushes, and tools are scattered in a charmingly chaotic manner, exuding the unique cultural and artistic vibe that only the City of Light, Paris, can offer.

Debut of Jasper Huang's New Work 'See No Evil' at Phillips Rabbit Luna Year Group Exhibition in New York
Jasper Huang was invited by contemporary art curator Christophe W. Mao to exhibit and openly bid, alongside other participating artists including Ai Weiwei. Huang's work "SEE NO EVIL" draws from the common cultural reference of the three wise monkeys—"See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil"—depicting how modern individuals are exposed to many soul-polluting messages in both online and real-life contexts. Between "seeing" and "not seeing," one must rely on wisdom and self-discipline to decide.
